I Lost the Love of My Life
Becky Fisher
I joined Cookie Lee after losing the love of my life. I lost my husband Clark to cancer and had little motivation to get out of bed and even less desire to live.
My husband became the inspiration behind my Cookie Lee business. It is the reason why every show I hold, is a show with a purpose. I donate a portion of my sales from each show to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America. There are so many reasons I love my Cookie Lee business. I've found so much happiness in helping other Consultants realize their dreams and goals. Being surrounded by so many strong, beautiful and positive women has given me the courage to live.
I was the only one who didn't raise my hand
Bonnie Orona
I really didn't join Cookie Lee to make friends—I wanted to earn extra money so that my husband and I could donate more of our income to charitable causes.
Surprise!
The friends I've made through Cookie Lee have been here for me through thick and thin. Although we call each other with good news about being able to write big checks for fundraisers, or having lots of people attend our shows, we also count on each other when things in life outside of Cookie Lee aren't so good. We call on each other for support and validation. Finding these friendships has been one of the best experiences in my life.
Financial Freedom for my Family
Becky Seda
Seeing CEO John Lin on the TODAY show giving Cookie Lee's donation to Toys for Tots inspired Becky Seda to check out Cookie Lee. Little did she realize at the time, her Cookie Lee biz would end up funding her husband's continuing education and transform their lives.
I could use my business to give to others
Tracey Waters
Countless people in the United States are fortunate and generous enough to “pass it on” by sponsoring children in other countries around the world. Tracey Waters received an unexpected bonus when she earned the Cookie Lee 2010 Dream Getaway Trip to Punta Cana. There in the Dominican Republic, Tracey not only enjoyed the surf, sand and company of her Cookie sisters, she was able to meet Karen Leticia, the little girl she had been sponsoring for six years.
After two years of achieving her goals as a Cookie Lee Consultant, Tracey changed her focus from how much she could make to how she could use her business to give to others.
What a Blessing Cookie Lee Is!
Jenny Elizarrez
When I joined Cookie Lee 15 years ago, I couldn't have foreseen how much I would need it in my life.
My 25-year-old daughter Andrea was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome, which has caused her to be confined to her bed and in terrible pain. Unfortunately, not even morphine helped. We finally found a doctor at the UCLA hospital who performs special nerve treatments for Andrea's condition. However, he does not accept any insurance. If it were not for my Cookie Lee commission check, I would not have been able to pay for the treatment. Then, in March, my husband Fidel had to have heart surgery. He is doing much better after the surgery, and thankfully, Cookie Lee also helped to pay those medical bills that the insurance didn't cover.
Cookie Lee has given me the ability to support my family in ways I never would have been able to provide otherwise. Now I say, “What a blessing Cookie Lee is!”
Two small children and I needed to get a job
Kendra Rovello
I was a stay-at-home mom, and, in an instant, I became the widowed mother of two small children. I needed to get a job. I'd already gone the demanding-career-route working in a burn and trauma unit for years, but I didn't want my children to have to deal with another huge change when they'd already gone through so much.
An unexpected solution came my way when I admired someone's necklace. She was a Cookie Lee Consultant. I had been praying for a way to earn money that would also work for my family, so I decided to pursue a Cookie Lee business even though I'd never sold anything in my life. There was a lot of trial and error in the beginning as I tried to figure out how to balance everything, but I found success in my first year.
For us, Cookie Lee is not only the sole income for our family, it is a business that works for our family.
